Dr. Julide Celebi is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in general dermatology, cutaneous oncology including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, cosmetic dermatology, and laser surgery. Her clinical practice focuses on skin cancer prevention and management, general dermatology, and cosmetic procedures.
She completed her internship in internal medicine at University of Florida in 1995, and completed her dermatology residency training at Columbia University Medical Center in 1998. Prior to residency training she spent two years as a clinical research fellow in the department of dermatology at Georgetown University.
Dr. Celebi served as faculty in the department of dermatology at Columbia University Medical Center from 1998-2013, followed by Vice-Chair appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from 2013-2022, and faculty at NYU Langone from 2022-2024. She has practiced clinical dermatology in a private practice setting in Manhattan. She is affiliated with Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Celebi has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, authored book chapters, lectured widely, received grants and awards, and contributed to the editorial process. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, member-elect of the New York Dermatological Society and American Dermatological Association. She has served in leadership positions at the Dermatology Foundation and the Dermatological Society of Greater New York. She has received a Presidential citation by the American Academy of Dermatology, and has been named a top doctor by Castle Connolly.
